We set out to build a writing app, and along the way we wrote a few smaller things to make the Nodes possible. After a while it became obvious that some of those smaller things would be useful to people who besides us, writing apps that are not Nodes.

So we are giving them away. Slowly, one piece at a time, when the documentation is somewhat existent and the API has stopped moving every Tuesday. Today there is exactly one such piece. We expect there will be a few more.
