Why we build Nodes

Written text is endlessly fascinating. A string of letters, that can hold the entirety of human knowledge. A few letters, arranged just right, can make people cry, fall in love, or change the course of history - while the letters themselves remain indifferent. They simply exist, quietly, even when we forget them.

Now that we've acknowledged the beauty of written text, we'd like to announce our intention to take part in the human habit of writing. Our role is to provide the surface on which text is written - a surface that is beautiful and minimal by design. But beneath that surface lies something far from minimal: a powerful logic and abstraction that will redefine how we see and interact with written information.
